Bhilwada Cricket Academy lost their second match with a very small margin of 13 runs in All India Wonder Cement U-16 Tournament 2017. Held at Shikarbadi Cricket Ground, the match between Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Academy and Bhilwara Cricket Academy had been an interesting watch for the followers of both the teams. Electing to bat, Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Academy lost their first wicket in the first over. However, Deepak Bharthi and Sachin Kakodia’s wonderful inning added 115 runs which led them to the final score of 187/10 in 44 overs. For Bhilwada Cricket Academy, Ritik Jagtyani shone by picking 3 wickets giving only 7 runs in 2 overs.
While chasing, Bhilwada Cricket Academy started up with a fair batting line up adding to the score board in steady pace. Though the target seemed doable, the team could not sustain outstanding bowling by Bhavani Shankar Chaudhary, who took 5 wickets in 9.5 overs giving 19 runs. Despite of a close fight, Bhilwada Cricket Academy restricted at 174/10 and lost the match by 13 runs.
