The prestigious All India Wonder Cement U-16 Cricket Tournament is started from 19th June’17 at Shikarbadi Cricket Ground, Udaipur.
The first match was between Wonder Cricket Academy and Bhilwara Cricket Academy. Wonder Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat. The team had been a show stealer from the start. With amazing batting line up the team pulled off the difficult target of 333 runs for Bhilwara Cricket Academy. No bowlers seemed to be able to restrict the smashing inning by Anurag Singh and Nishant Sharma who scored 107 (87) and 82(93) respectively.
While chasing the massive score of 333 runs, Bhilwara Cricket Academy started to crumble from the first ball. However, Bhavya Goyal 42 (37) and Harshit Lokwani 48 (65) tried very well to save the game but none of the players seem to hold their feet for long against powerful bowling performances of Wonder Cricket Academy. Adnan(3-16) and Ritik Audichya’s (2-31) outstanding bowling sent Bhilwara Cricket Academy to the pavilion in just 158 runs in 37.2 overs.
