Kreeda Mahotsav Season-2 2018 was organized between 16th Jun.’18 to 22nd Jul.’18.
18 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament from which, an all-important final was played between Red Devils and DSCI Finance AP 11 on 22nd Jul.’18 at Saraswathi Cricket Ground- Hyderabad.
Electing bat, Red Devils got a very good start as opening batsman Abhishek Paul smashed 65 runs off 55 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Prasanna too played a good innings and added 29 runs at fast pace. With most of the players contributing well, team posted a good score of 159 in 20 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
While chasing, DSCI Finance AP 11 had a slow start with Anil Kurian and Narsimha Pujari scoring 15 and 26 runs respectively. Captain Ravi Babu Enti scored helpful 29 runs in 20 balls with 4 boundaries and 1 six. Abhishek Kaul shined again with bowl as he scalped 4 important wickets in 4 overs restricting DSCI Finance AP 11 from reaching at the target. Despite trying well, DSCI Finance AP 11 failed score at required pace and closed at the score of 131 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 7 wickets.
Red Devils registered an easy 28 run win over DSCI Finance AP 11 in the final of Kreeda Mahotsav Season-2 2018.
