Shree Karni Corporate Tournament 2018 was organized between 13th May’18 to 17th Jul.’18 at Jaipur.
Out of the 12 participant teams, a crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Expert Publicity and Young Guns on 17th Jul.’18 at SBN Cricket Stadium Ground- Jaipur.
Electing to bat, Expert Publicity started well with both the opening batsmen Manish Sharma and Radheyshyam Delu scoring 36 and 49 runs respectively at fast pace followed by Aadarsh Sharma’s 35 runs in 18 balls. With most of the players contributing well, team posted a good score of 175 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Vipin Singh from Young Guns picked 4 wickets in 3 overs.
While replying, it was not a smooth sailing for Young Guns as they started to lose wickets from early overs. However, Aadesh Sharma and Sunny Narula played well added 33 and 26 runs respectively at fast rate but remaining players did not manage to go beyond 10’s and team collapsed making 129 runs in 17.1 overs. Almost all the bowlers of Expert Publicity performed well but pick of the lot was Amit Sanan, who scalped 2 wickets in 4 overs giving only 21 runs. Radheshyam Delu and Pushpi too chipped in with 2 wickets each restricting Young Guns from reaching at the target.
Expert Publicity registered a comfortable 46 run win over Young Guns in the final of Shree Karni Corporate Tournament 2018.
