Balod Premier League Season-1 2018 - organized by Good Morning Club - Balod was played between 17th Jun.’18 to 15th Jul.’18 at Balod.
Out of the 5 participant teams, an all-important final of this much cherished tournament was played between Balod Strikers and Balod Bulls on 15th July’18 at Balod Stadium- Balod.
After electing to bat, Balod Strikers made 110 runs in 14.5 overs by losing all the wickets. Major contributor was Gyaneshwar, who scored 44 runs in 35 balls with 2 boundaries and 4 sixes. However, none of the remaining players managed to go beyond 10’s and team collapsed at the score of 110 runs. Shahrukh Khan from Balod Bulls was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, where in Gaurav Bafna too bowled well and picked 2 important wickets in 3 overs.
While replying, Balod Bulls did not manage to get a good start and started to lose wickets from early overs. Piyush Ahuja (22) and Tasleem Ansari (23) were the only 2 players, who managed to reach at double digits. Team failed to cope with required rate and ended up scoring 84 runs in 15 overs by losing 6 wickets.
Balod Strikers registered a comfortable 26 run win over Balod Bulls in the final of Balod Premier League Season- 1 2018.
