1st Maharao Shekha U-13 Cricket League 2018 was organized between 6th Jun.’18 to 9th Jul.’18 at Jaipur.
10 teams from various cricket academies participated in this tournament, from which the final was played between Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) and SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) on 8th July’18 at SBN Cricket Stadium Ground - Jaipur.
Electing to bat, Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) scored 187 runs in 39 overs after losing all the wickets. Bhuwan Sharma top scored it with 65 runs. The other major contributor was captain Kushal Saini, who too played well and added 51 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Deepak Sharma from SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) with 2 wickets.
While replying, SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) gave a very good fight with almost all the players contributing significantly in the final chase. Captain Ajay Saini was the highest scorer with 47 runs. Jatin Kumar too played a very good innings and added unbeaten 28 runs in 32 runs. However, despite trying really well, team failed to score at required rate and ended up scoring 176 runs in 40 overs. Jatin Saini from Kodai Cricket Academy bowled really well and picked 2 wickets in 8 overs by giving only 19 runs.
Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) won the final of 1st Maharao Shekha U-13 Cricket League 2018 by 11 runs against SBN Cricket Academy (U-13).
Bhuwan Sharma from Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) was awarded as the player of the match.
