GETABAT Premier League 2018 Edition -1 was organized between 11th Jun.’18 to 9th Jul.’18 at Ahmedabad.
Out of the 8 participant teams, an all-important final of this much cherished tournament was played between Sports Club C.C. and Young Indian Stars on 9th Jul.’18 at T.R. Patel Farm- Ahmedabad.
Electing to bat, Sports Club C.C. posted a huge score of 244 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Almost all the players scored at fast pace adding up significantly in the final score. Captain Rajdeep Darbar played an exceptional innings by smashing 86 runs off 37 balls with 13 boundaries and 4 sixes. Aja Shah was the other major contributor, who scored 65 runs in 30 balls with 5 boundaries and 6 sixes.
While chasing, Young Indian Stars never got off the blocks as team started to fumble from early overs. They could not comprehend with the pace of Tejas Gurjar from Sports Club C.C., who picked 4/22. None of the players managed to go beyond 20’s, where in highest score was 20 made by Urvish Thummar. Aditya Patel (2/10) and Shastri Harsh (2/20) routed Young Indian Starts again as the team crashed at the score of 97 runs in 13 overs
