Aditya Premier League 2018 was organized between 18th Jun.’18 to 29th Jun.’18 at Madanapalle.
Out of the 6 participant teams, an all-important final of this much cherished tournament was played between M.M. Steel Challengers and Bajaj Elevens on 29th Jun.’18 at Adinath Engineering college ground- Madanapalle.
Electing to bat, M.M. Steel Challengers failed to perform well and bundled up scoring 73 runs in 16.4 overs. Highest run getter was Dynamic Harsha with 22 runs. None of the remaining players managed to cross 10’s, which led to a low score. C.V. Bharath Raj from Bajaj Eleven bowled exceptionally well picking up 4 wickets in 4 overs giving only 9 runs, which damaged the batting line up of M.M. Steel Challengers majorly. J. Prashanth and K. Pranay Reddy too chipped in with 2 wickets each restricting opponent at the score of 73 runs.
While replying, Bajaj Elevens started well with opening batsman Subramanyam Vadla scoring unbeaten 20 runs off 26 balls. He was supported well by J. Prashanth from the other end, who made 20 runs in 13 balls with 5 boundaries. Their stable partnership led team to a strong position. C.V. Bharath Raj shined again with unbeaten 21 runs , which helped team reach achieve the target in just 11.5 overs by losing 3 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Dynamic Harsha from M.M.Steel Challengers, who bolwed at low economy rate and picked a wicket in 2 overs,
Bajaj Elevens displayed an all-round performance and registered an easy 7 wicket win over M.M.Steel Challengers.
