Swarnakar Premier League 2018 organized by Swarna Yuva Sangh was played between 16th Jun.’18 to 21st Jun.’18 at Sheoganj.
Out of the 25 participant teams, the final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Rajasthan Royal (Sheoganj) and Falna Warrior (Falna) on 21st Jun.’18 at Swarn Baag Ground- Sheoganj.
Falna Warriors (Falna) won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, they bundled up Rajasthan Royal (Sheoganj) at a meager score of 48 runs in 10.4 overs, in which extras conceded by Falna Warriors (Falna) bowlers, contributed whooping 24 to the tally. Except Yogesh Soni, nobody managed to touch double digit score. Himanshu Besra from Falna Warriors (Falna) bowled exceptionally well and picked 3 wickets in 2.4 overs giving only 4 runs. Ketan Soni and Himanshu too chipped in with 2 wickets each damaging Rajasthan Royal (Sheoganj)’s batting line up completely.
While chasing, Falna Warriors (Falna) chased down the target in just 7 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Major contributors were Khushal Soni and Ketan Soni with 18 and 11 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Anil Shree Shree Mali from Rajasthan Royal (Sheoganj), who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
