Eka Premier League 2018 (EPL) was organized between 3rd Jun.’18 to 11th Jun.’18 at Ahmedabad.
Held at Eka Club- Ahmedabad, the crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Eka Diwan Riders and Ahmedabad Cricket Club on 10th Jun.’18.
Electing to bat, Eka Diwan Riders posted the score of 83 runs in 12 overs by losing 3 wickets. Major contributors were Kaushal Dave and Pranav Patel with 44 and 21 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Rumit Patel from Ahmedabad Cricket Club, who picked 2 wickets in 3 overs giving 9 runs.
While chasing, despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Ahmedabad Cricket Club chased down the target in 9.4 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Highest run getter was Raj Mekhiya, who scored 21 runs off 17 balls. Mayank Rupala and Anal Patel too played well and added 20 runs each, which helped their team reach at the target easily. Kushal Dave from Eka Diwan Riders was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets.
Ahmedabad Cricket Club registered a 6 wicket win over Eka Diwan Riders in the final of Eka Premier League 2018.
