Rajgor Premier League Season-7 2018 was organized between 26th May’18 to 9th Jun.’18 at Mandvi-Kutch.
39 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament. The crucial final of this tournament was played between Nice 11 Maska and Brahmtej XI Maska on 9th Jun.’18 at Maska Ground- Mandvi.
Electing to bat, Nice 11 Maska posted a score of 82 runs in 12 overs after losing all the wickets. Major contributor was Sachin Nakar, who made 24 runs off 20 balls with 5 wickets. However, apart from him Prakash Rajgor (12) and Mehul Nakar (16) were the only 2 players who managed to reach to double digits as all other players were dismissed below 10 runs. All the bowlers of Brahmtej XI Maska did a good job, but pick of the lot was Deep Gor, who picked 2 wickets in 3 overs giving 12 runs.
While chasing, Brahmtej XI Maska tried really well and gave a good fight till the last over. Opening batsman gave team a good start by scoring 15 runs in 13 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 six. Sagar Gor, who came to bat on 4th position played extremely well and added 30 runs in 31 balls with 4 sixes took team quite close to the target. However, wickets fell in quick succession after his dismissal reducing the pace and team fell short of just 1 run from reaching at the final score. Brahmtej XI Maska closed their innings at 81 runs in 12 overs by losing 7 wickets. Effective bowling of Bhavik Gor from Nice 11 Maska was the main reason behind their slow pace and he succeeded in taking 3 important wickets during crucial overs of the innings giving only 12 runs.
