Rajyosthava Cup 2018 was organized between 5th Feb.’18 to 9th Jun.’18 at Bengaluru.
25 teams from various verticals participated in the tournament from which, the final was played between NewZen and Intellicom Solutions 11 on 9th Jun.’18 at Central College- Bengaluru.
Electing to bat, NewZen scored 119 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Opening batsmen Pradeep Kumar and Nandhan V Gowda gave team a good start as they scored 24 and 18 runs respective at good pace. However, after Nandhan’s dismissal remaining players did not manage to score very well and team started to lose wickets at regular intervals. None of the players scored beyond 10’s and team ended up scoring 119 runs at the end of the innings. Mudddasir from Intellicom Solutions 11 was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, and was well assisted with other bowlers Nayaz and Adnan, who picked 2 wickets each hampering the batting line up of NewZen completely.
While chasing, Intellicom Solutions 11 lost some important wickets in early overs. Team had to struggle till the last over to reach at the target. Mohsin, who came to bat on 6th position made useful 20 runs off 21 balls giving much needed stability was supported well from the other end by Nayaz, who scored unbeaten 42 runs in 38 balls leading team towards the final win. Solutions 11 reached at 120 runs in 19.4 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Mohammed Hidayath from NewZen, who scalped 2 wickets in 4 overs giving only 12 runs.
Intellicom Solutions 11 won the final of Rajyosthav Cup 2018 by 3 wickets against NewZen.
Player of the match was Nayaz from Intellicom Solutions 11.
