The colts from Sardar Patel Institute of Sports (SPIS) came out with a dominating display as they edged out Bhoyate CC (BCC) by eight wickets to win under-14 SPCT Cup cricket tournament on Thursday. Vikas Patel top scored with an unbeaten 50 from 59 balls as Bhoyate CC (BCC) posted a competitive 138 for four in 25 overs. Atharva Ravat too chipped in with 22-ball 25. For SPIS, leg spinner Harsh Patel took two wickets while fellow leggie Prachin Naik chipped in with awicket. However, SPIS colts came out firing with Paras Kotwal led the chase with an unbeaten 87-ball 73. Prachin too chipped in with 34-ball 25 as SPIS knocked off the runs in 24.2 overs losing two wickets in the process.
