One of the most cherished tournaments of Kolkata - J C Mukherjee Trophy Tournament 2017-18 was played between 21st Mar.’18 to 3rd Jun.’18 at Kolkata.
37 teams from various cricket clubs of Kolkata participated in this tournament. An all-important final of this tournament was played between Mohun Bagan A.C and Bhowanipur Club on 3rd Jun.’18 at Eden Garden - Kolkata.
Electing to bat, Mohun Bagan A.C posted a competitive total of 157 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Highest run-getter was Sudip Chatterjee with 69 runs off 52 balls. Other major contributor was Subhomoy Das, who made 28 runs in 21 balls with 5 boundaries. Sandipan Das from Bhowanipur Club bowled exceptionally well and picked 4 wickets in 3 over restricting Mohun Bagan A.C from putting up a big score.
