Underdogs Cricket League 3.0 2018 was organized between 28th Apr.’18 to 3rd Jun.’18 at Bengaluru.
Out of the 12 participant teams, an all-important final of this tournament was played between Titans UCL 3.0 and Roaring Willows on 3rd Jun.’18 at Sachin Tendulkar Ground - Bengaluru.
Electing to bat, Titans Ucl 3.0 posted a good score of 171 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Though team did not get a very good start, Shubham Singh, who came to bat on 4th position gave much needed boost to the score as he smashed 56 runs off 32 balls with 9 boundaries. He has received a good support from the other end in form of Gopal, who made 39 runs in 30 balls and remained not out. Shaheen too added important 29 runs off 16 balls during crucial overs helping team to reach at a good score. Pick of bowlers was Siddhant B Bhandary from Roaring Willows with 3 wickets.
While chasing, despite trying really well Roaring Willows failed to score at required rate. Most of the players contributed in the final chase but they did not manage to stay on crease for long against the strong bowling attack by Titans Ucl 3.0. Highest scorers were Idris Baig and Yash, who made 30 and 21 runs respectively. Jerry Mathew and UD Aditya Ranjan from Titans Ucl 3.0 bowled well and picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively restricting Roaring Willows from reaching at the target. Team collapsed at the score of 131 runs in 19.1 overs.
Titans Ucl 3.0 shone in an all-round show and won the final by 36 runs against Roaring Willows in Underdogs Cricket League 3.0 2018.
