Naroli Premier League 2018 - organized by Jay Bhavani Cricket Club was organized between 24th May’18 to 1st Jun.’18 at Silvasa.
Out of the 5 participant teams, an all-important final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Haveli Royal and Luhar Lions on 1st Jun.’18 at Meet Cricket Ground- Silvasa.
Electing to bat, Haveli Royals posted a good score of 125 runs in 12 overs after losing all the wickets. Major contributors were Jignesh Magela and Dhaval Bhandari, who added 37 and 35 runs respectively at fast rate. All the bowlers of Luhari Lions did a good job but pick of the lot was Kamal Solanki, who picked 2 wickets in 3 overs giving 16 runs.
While replying, Luhari Lions failed to get a good start and lost wickets at regular intervals. None of the players managed to stay on crease for long as majority of them were dismissed in 10’s. The highest run getters were Siddharth and Kevin Bhandari with 20 runs each. With disappointing batting show, team ended up scoring 106 runs in 12 overs by losing 9 wickets. Jignesh Mangela from Haveli Royals shined again with bowl as he scalped 2 important wickets in 3 overs giving 13 runs.
Haveli Royals won the final of Naroli Premier League 2018 by 19 runs against Luhari Lions.
