Dhyey Tanna scored an allimportant half-century before Jaywardhan Chudasama took the rivals for a spin as Sports Promoters Charitable Trust (SPCT) ‘A’ trounced their ‘B’ team by 133 runs to reach the semi-finals of under-16 SPCT Cup. At AES Sports Complex ground, left-hand batsman Dhyey slammed nine fours and a six for his 71-ball 77 as SPCT ‘A’ posted 190 for five in 25 overs. Om Patel too chipped in with useful 33-ball 47. For SPCT ‘B’, Mudit Agarwal took three wickets. Taken for a spin Off-spinner Jaywardhan then took four wickets as SPCT ‘A’ bowled out their rivals for a paltry 57 in 13.5 overs to register a big win. For the losing side, Aniket Patel top scored with nine-ball 17 while others failed to put up a fight.
