One of the most celebrated tournaments of Ahmedabad - Parshwanath Jain Premier League 4 was organized between 18th May’18 to 27th May’18.
Held at L.G. Hospital Ground- Maningar, Ahmedabad, an all-important final of this much loved tournament was played between Shantinath CC and Parshwanath XI on 27th May’18.
Electing to bat, Shantinath CC started well with opening batsman Ab Jain scoring 28 runs off 21 balls with 1 boundary and 2 sixes. However, he failed to get support from the other end and team started to lose wickets at regular intervals. Parth Jain was the other major contributor, who added 28 runs in 23 balls during crucial overs, which helped team put up a reasonable score of 101 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing 10 wickets. Yash H Jain from Parshwanath XI was the main reason behind early collapse of Shantinath CC as he picked 5 wickets in 4 overs damaging the batting line up of opponent completely. Sanjay R Jain too chipped in with 2 important wickets restricting Shantinath CC from putting up a good score.
While chasing, though Parshwanath XI faced some early blows, the strong partnership between Sunny R Jain (40) and Aman Jain (53) steered Parshwanath XI towards victory without much struggle. Team chased down the target in 13.4 overs with the loss of 3 wickets.
It was a sublime 7 wicket win for Parshwanath XI as they cruised pass Shantinath XI in the final of Parshwanath Jain Premier League 4.
Aman Jain from Parshwanath XI was awarded as the player of the match.
