One of the most celebrated tournaments of Ahmedabad- Ahmedabad Tharad Premier League 2018 -organized by Ahmedabad Tharad Committee was played between 12th May’18 to 27th May’18.
Held at St. Xavier’s College Ground- Ahmedabad, an all-important final of this heavily followed tournament was played between Aarmor Riders and Dadu’s Lions on 27th May’18.
Electing to bat, Aarmor Riders scored 86 runs in 16 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Highest scorers were Dhaval and Krunal, who scored 15 and 13 runs respectively at fast rate. Bowling highlight of the innings was Nirav from Dadu’s Lions, who took 4 wickets in 4 overs. Pratik too bowled well and chipped in with 3 important wickets in crucial overs.
While replying, Dadu’s Lions started to fumble from early overs as team lost its first 2 wickets in first 3 bowls of the innings. Purvesh Shah (18) and Romil (14) were the only players, who managed to reach to double digit scores. Dadu’s Lions ended up scoring 60 runs in 16 overs by losing 9 wickets. Love from Aarmor Riders bowled extremely well as he picked 3 wickets in 4 overs giving only 10 runs hampering the batting line of Dadu’s Lions badly.
Aarmer Riders won the final by 26 runs against Dadu’s Lions in Ahmedabad Tharad Premier League 2018.
