2nd Renu Daga Inter Departmental Premier League 2018 (RDIPL) was organized between 5th May’18 to 26th May’18 at Jaipur.
Out of 10 participant teams, the crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Education Tej Singh and Education (Vinod) on 26th May’18 at SBN Cricket Stadium- Jaipur.
Electing to bat Education Tej Singh played a good innings and posted 139 runs in 20 overs after losing all the wickets. Harsh Sisodiya top scored by 46 runs off 37 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. Manish Jangid too played well and added 23 runs in 21 balls. Pick of the bowlers was Bablesh Mewal from Education (Vinod), who picked 3 wickets in 4 overs giving only 16 runs.
While chasing, it had been smooth sailing for Education (Vinod) from the beginning. Team got a very good start with both the opening batsmen Mahesh and Vinod Sharma, scoring 33 and 31 runs respectively at fast rate. Vikram Kumar Meena, who came to bat on 3rd position played extremely well and smashed 52 runs off 39 balls with 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. Team managed to chased down the target in just 11.2 overs by losing 4 wickets.
Education (Vinod) displayed an all-round performance and registered a comfortable 6 wickets win against Education Tej Singh in the final of 2nd Renu Daga Inter Departmental Premier League 2018.
Vikram Kumar Meena from Education (Vinod) was awarded as the player of the match.
