SNCC thrived in a collective effort to overshadow Man of the Match Abhi Patel’s individual show as SNCC recorded a close three-wicket win over AMC in under-16 SPCT Cup. At AES Sports Complex ground, SNCC bowlers hunted as a pack with medium pacer Krunal Bukeliya, left-arm medium pacer Jay Patel and left-arm spinner Ayush Amin took two wickets each as they restricted their rivals for 110 for nine in 25 overs. Sumit Ranva top scored with 29-ball 32 while Abhi chipped in with an unbeaten 25-ball 14. Off-spinner Abhi then took four wickets as AMC mounted a stiff challenge but it was too small a target to defend. Farhan Khan top scored with 25-ball 26 while Subh Shah guided the team home in the 23rd over with an unbeaten 20 from 28 balls.
