NCA Under 14 Trophy 2018 was organized between 20th May’18 to 25th May’18 at Nashik.
Held at NCA Nashik Cricket Academy Ground, the thrilling final of the tournament was played between NCA U-14 and Dwarka CA U-14 on 25th May’18.
NCA U-14 won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not manage to get a very good start as they started to lose wickets from early overs. Team bundled up at the score of 119 runs in 35.2 overs. Highest contributor was Aniket Singh with 53 runs. Though all the bowlers of Dwarka CA U-14 did a good job, pick of the lot was Aditya Dalvi, who picked 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, Dwarka CA U-14 gave a good fight with all the players contributing for the final chase. Highest scorers were Mustansir Kanchwala and Rohit Purohit with 22 and 18 runs respectively. However, team failed to score at required pace and fell short of 9 runs for winning the final. Effective bowling by Aryan Solanki and Ravindra Matcha, who picked 3 and 2 wickets was the main reason behind Dwarka CA U-14’s early collapse. Team ended up at the score of 110 runs in 35.1 overs after losing all the wickets.
NCA U-14 won the final of NCA Under 14 Trophy 2018 by 9 runs against Dwarka CA U-14.
Player of the match was Aniket Singh from NCA U-14.
