Sicilian Games Cricket League 2018 was organized between 27th Apr.’18 to 19th May’18 at Ahmedabad.
Held at Adani Shantigram Cricket Ground- Ahmedabad, an all-important final of this much cherished tournament was played between BNI Makrios and BNI Ganicus on 19th May’18.
BNI Marikos won the toss and elected to bat. Batsmen of BNI Makiros failed to make most of the decision to bat first with only Jugal Shah offering some resistance with 31-ball 25. None of the remaining players managed to go beyond 10’s, which resulted in early collapse of BNI Marikos. Bhaumik Shah from BNI Ganicus took rivals for a spin with 5 wickets in 4 overs while Karan Vakharia scalped 3 more as BNI Ganicus bowled out their rivals for 95 in 17.2 overs.
After five star bowling performance, BNI Ganicus returned with impressive batting line up and chased down the target in 13.2 overs by losing 2 wickets. Highest run getter was opening batsman Malay Ghelani, who smashed 51 in 36 balls with 7 boundaries and 1 six.
BNI Ganicus came out with all-round performance as they walloped to 8 wicket win over BNI Makrios in Sicilian Games Cricket League 2018.
