Opener Monesh Mashruwala's unbeaten knock turned out to be a match winning one on Wednesday as Dialogue Makers XI thumped Infinity Lift XI by 18 runs at Gulmohar Greens.
Electing to bat first, Dialouge Makers' Mashru-wala, unable to find the fence or go over it, scored most of his runs by steadily rotating strikes to score in singles and doubles. His unbeaten 30 off 32 balls consisted of a single boundary. Nikhil Parikh, too, played an important knock in the middle order and stayed unbeaten at 27 runs. Parikh's innings consisted of single six and two boundaries, with a strike rate of 150. Dialogue Makers XI posted a total of 81 runs at the end of 15 overs. Dhairya Shah for Infinity Lift XI stood to be the pick among bowlers by clinching 2-18.
The chase, in return, for Infini-ty Lift XI looked more on the back foot, with their side trying to save wickets from the onset of their in-nings. Samrat Dave was the only batsman from Infinity Lift XI to score a decent number. Dave stayed unbeaten at 32 runs, but failed to help his side chase down the target. Infinity Lift XI's in-nings were halted at 63/5 at the end of 15 overs.
